biography

Silencio is a music project dedicated to ambient and electro-acoustic music, exploring themes such as absence, memory, distance and sleep. Silencio is Julien Demoulin accompanied by one or several of : Nicolas Lecocq, Bernold Delgoda and Lénina Epstein.

They released three albums on different labels (Grand Téton, Carte Postale Records, Music Made By People) before joigning three:four records with When I'm Gone".

The first drafts for When I’m Gone date back to the year 2005. It took them almost 6 years to finalize the record and 7 years to publish it. (...)

Thin Air and Unseen Sun were recorded during the same session as When I'm Gone.

These two tracks are pressed on a white label 7" in a lovely hand-stamped cardboard sleeve. It comes as bonus with the LP edition of When I'm Gone or you can purchase it individually (via our website). (...)
